If you have a grill, a party coming up, or a love for chopping veggies, I would definitely recommend some kebabs! I made this for a pool party this past summer. They are super easy to make and fun to eat.
Here’s a list of the ingredients I used:
- Bell Peppers (Yellow, Orange, Red)
- Sweet Onion
- Olive oil
- Seasoning salt
- Bamboo sticks
First off, I cut the vegetables into bite sized wedges. (The peppers and onion fit best on the kebab sticks if they are more of a rectangular shape.) Then, I cut the raw chicken into bite size amounts with my food scissors. I drizzled some olive oil and seasoning salt on the chicken and the vegetables.
The bamboo sticks need to soak in water for at least 30 minutes. For best results, soak your bamboo sticks overnight–it takes a while for the water to be absorbed, but the longer they soak in water the less the bamboo sticks burn when you grill them. After you soak the bamboo sticks, you can start putting food on them! I tried to make sure there was a variety of vegetables mixed in with the chicken to keep everything balanced.
Then grill and enjoy!
