IMG_20180412_172746_241One of my favorite things that my mom used to make for me when I was growing up were homemade meatballs. To this day, I have a really hard time eating the frozen ones, they are just not as good! I want to share one of the many variations of homemade meatballs that you can make.

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.

Here is what you need to make them:

  • 1 cup of blended GF oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 lbs. of hamburger meat
  • 2 teaspoons of oregano
  • 1 cup of sweet onion (you can use less onion if you would like)

First blend a cup of GF oats in a blender until the oats look like flour. Then, you can put all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix it with your hands. I used a cookie scooper to ball up the meat into balls and then I placed them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven.

They need to cook for 15 minutes and then they are ready to be enjoyed!
