Okay, those who have been following me for a while know that I really like lemon flavored things and pretty much all things to do with lemon. I saw this video about how to make homemade ice cream in a jar when I was craving ice cream one night so I decided to put a lemon-twist on it.
Here’s what you need to make it:
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of lemon extract
So before I put this all in a jar I whipped all of the ingredients in a bowl for about two minutes. This mixes air into the cream so your ice cream will be a fluffy, yummy flavor! Then, I put the mixture into a jar and let it freeze for 3 hours.
That’s all it takes!
